I'm a part of G4 history!

Sat Feb 14, 2009, 8:10 PM
So someone pointed out how my art is at the beginning of a Fresh Ink episode with Blair Butler covering NY Comic-Con. I drew these up for a promotional poster for last year's San Diego Comic-Con and I'm glad to see that they're still being used. It was really cool to see these. I love doing work for G4. They're an awesome group of people.

You don't have to wait long for my artwork. It's between 0:11-0:14 of the clip. [link]

You can take a look at the original poster here: [link]

I'll miss you, Ringo!

I will soon. I've got a few things set aside to post. I finally got the 24HR comic back that I did years ago at Happy Harbour Comics and that's one of the things I'll be posting. :)

Follow what you truly want to do. I went to college and studied Design and Illustration but we didn't have any options for anything even remotely close to graphic novels. Given the opportunity, I definitely would have gone for that.

If you really want to get in some good learning for doing graphic novels, I strongly (STRONGLY) urge you to pick up Making Comics by Scott McCloud. In fact, I may have learned more from this book than I did in school. If you haven't checked it out, it might be a good idea to at least check it out to wet your whistle until you decide which course to go for.

Good luck with your decision.

And I'm looking forward to reading it I've still got a while to decide so i shall see how it goes.

thanks x
